Alisa

Alisa, or Lisa was born September 12, 2005 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was named after a mutual friend of my wife and I, the one who made it all possible for us to meet. She wears the title of "Daddy's Little Girl," and is a self-proclaimed princess. Alisa has many nicknames Li Li, Sugar Mama, Lil' Mama, and Version 4.0. Having three older siblings has given her an edge over most children her age. She's broken a lot if not all records/milestones in our household: youngest to hold a bottle, walk, talk (I'm sure you get the picture).

Everyone talks about children going through the terrible two phase, well it didn't happen for us until she turned three. She's has just about gotten in to everything. Her reasoning for getting into things she has no business messing with is not out of curiosity, but because she wants so bad to be a "big girl" just like her sister. Here's a short list of some of her "accomplishments" as an independent little woman.

1. Even though she's potty trained, she has managed to flood the toilet with toilet paper.
2. In an effort to do her own hair, she has put hair grease all over her hair and face.
3. She has "helped" me with my homework a number of times.
4. In an effort to fix breakfast, she managed to get some milk in the bowl for her cereal, but not before spilling a bunch of it on the floor.
5. And many more amazing feats I could add to this list but won't.

Alisa is my little performer. She does a little bit of everything. She sings, dances, and acts. Some of her favorite shows are The Backyardigans, Dora The Explorer, Go, Diego, Go!, Wonder Pets, Yo Gabba Gabba, Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, and Hip-Hop Harry. Her favorite singer is Beyoncé.
